Rebecca Simpson Steele is a Visual Director / Producer for still and motion based in Brooklyn, NY. She loves leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams of creatives (freelance and staff) to create award-winning, portfolio-worthy work. With in depth experience leading creative teams from development through post-production. Rebecca is currently at Hearst working on the brand Delish, where she keeps the Delish Kitchen Studios looking camera ready. She produces and art directs celebrity video + photo, recipe photo + video, podcasts and lovingly pretends she works on the food team developing and pitching recipes. Previously she was at Trusted Media Brands, Rodale, Newsweek and Kiplinger.
She enjoys diving into the creative work directly as well with skills in photography, ceramics, graphic design, and prop styling. In her spare time you can find her at the beach, making homemade pizza or working on DIY renovations.
Originally from the Annapolis, Maryland area, she holds a BFA in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
